When
we buy a stock, we buy it for some specific reasons. Then as time
passes, we may forget why we bought the stock and what we had in mind
when we bought it or their may be new unexpected developments for
the company/stock. In such cases, it is important to keep record of
why and under which circumstances we bought the stock and then do
some periodic review of the position.
